Sometimes I just want a quick and easy breakfast that feeds a lot of people, but also tastes good. What's much better for that than French Toast? I have finally mastered the best French Toast mixture!

The key to my success? CINNAMON! Lots and lots of it!!!!

I used sale bread to lessen the cost

I've also found that using a rectangular plastic container rather than a mixing bowl works great!

My personal favorite topping is pure maple syrup and powdered sugar! Of course, everyone loved this meal, and it was devoured rather quickly!
Want to make it yourself?
Ingredients:
1/4 cup ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 12 eggs 3/4 cup milk (I use soy or almomd) 2 teaspoons vanilla extract About 20 slices of bread (more or less depending on the size of your bread) Maple syrup or favorite topping
Instructions:
In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. In a rectangular plastic container whisk together cinnamon mixture, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Dip bread in egg mixture. Fry slices until golden brown, then flip to cook the other side. Serve with syrup or favorite topping like powdered sugar, jam or honey.
